Gnistr, a Norwegian book publisher, partnered with Reach Amplified to revitalize their online presence. Our comprehensive overhaul aimed to provide a seamless shopping experience, enhance user engagement, and drive significant growth in sales and customer loyalty.

The Project's Objective

Our mission was to elevate Gnistr’s e-commerce platform. We aimed to enhance online visibility and website traffic, increase key sales metrics such as Average Order Value (AOV) and Lifetime Value (LTV) by 10%, and grow the newsletter subscriber base. Additionally, we sought to create a reliable revenue stream, improve user experience, generate more SEO content, and enhance email marketing strategies.

Enhancing the Shopping Experience

To transform Gnistr’s online store, we focused on improving the user experience and optimizing the checkout process. We redesigned the website for better navigation, making it easier for customers to find and purchase books. A key feature of the revamp was the implementation of a streamlined, multi-device compatible checkout process, along with a new slide cart. This slide cart allowed users to easily review and modify their purchases without leaving the shopping page, greatly enhancing the shopping experience. These enhancements not only improved conversion rates but also contributed to a steady increase in the average order value (AOV) by encouraging additional purchases through dynamic upsells. The overall result was a more efficient, user-friendly platform that significantly boosted sales and customer satisfaction.

In addition to the website improvements, we implemented a robust digital marketing strategy to drive traffic and engagement. This included a comprehensive ad strategy and media buying, leveraging Meta platforms for social media management. We specifically tailored User-Generated Content (UGC) ads to the target audiences of specific books, creating a more personalized and engaging experience for potential customers. Our email marketing campaigns, featuring regular updates, offers, and abandoned cart reminders, kept customers engaged and coming back. We also published SEO-optimized blog content to attract organic traffic and highlight Gnistr’s book offerings, further enhancing their online presence and sales.

Feedback and Performance Metrics

Our transformation of Gnistr’s e-commerce platform led to considerable outcomes. Sales increased by 40%, showcasing the effectiveness of our strategies. The Average Order Value (AOV) rose by 15%, and is continuing to rise, reflecting the success of the optimized checkout process and upsells. Furthermore, the Return on Ad Spend (ROAS) doubled, climbing from 100 to 204, highlighting the efficiency of our ad campaigns.
